Kicki Berg's Professional Life

Since 1998, Kicki Berg has worked as a Video Jockey, or VJ, for Nordic MTV. She is a native of Lindingo, Stockholm and has, since starting with MTV, moved on to host a number of other shows for major Scandinavian networks.

MTV

Kicki Berg was discovered by and first worked for Nordic MTV. While with them, she hosted a number of video shows, including the European Top 20 and the Nordic Top 5. She also hosted the MTV reality series MTV Supermercado. She left MTV in 2007 in order to work with a major network.

Network Television

In late 2007 Kicki Berg was hired by Channel 5 to host So You Think You Can Dance: Scandinavia, a live-competition television series. The series was a Nordic spinoff of the show which first aired in Britain and America. The program featured dancers from Sweeden, Denmark and Norway, and aired on channels in all three countries. Unfortunately, it only aired during the 2008 season.

Program Manager

After So You Think You Can Dance ended, Kicki Berg was hired as the Program Manager for Channel 5. Though she no longer appears on television, she is frequently photographed at celebrity galas and other public events. She now goes by the name Margaret Ihrfelt, her real first name and married name, and tries to live a normal life outside the spotlight.

Kicki Berg once lived her life in front of the camera, but now works behind the scenes to organize the programming of one of the largest networks on the air. She has traded in the high life of an MTV VJ for the quiet life of a wife and mother, electing to work behind a desk and out of the spotlight.
